1. How many themes are there?
There are 8 themes and many 'general products' in the whole Lemax village collection

2. Can I pay online with a debit or credit card?
Yes you can.  We use the online payment system, Paypal with its secure payment transaction server, so you can pay for your order using a variety of debit or credit card types - you don't need a Paypal account to pay either!

3. What ways can I pay?
You can pay online use your debit/credit card, using Paypal or by UK Cheque or Postal Order. However, if you wish to collect your goodies or we are delivering locally you can pay by cash too.  (Please note collections need prior arrangement and will based at our depot in Milton Keynes.)

5. I can't find the product I'm after?
Try these options when you visit our shop:
- View each of the Lemax category types on the left hand side (ie. buildings, figurines, table pieces etc). 
- View a product by theme (ie Caddington Village, Spooky Town, etc) from our Home Page.
- Use our Search facility at the top right hand corner of our Home Page.  Please be mindful this may return inaccurate results as what you or we perceive as a product title or name may be very different and will therefore yield incorrect results.  A good example of a poor search term is the word, 'Christmas'.  We do not list the word, 'Christmas' in every product page, yet 95% of our range relates to a winter or Christmas feel.  We recommend for speed, typing in the Lemax product code which will find your item straight away!
- If you cannot find what you need, or it's not listed, please get in touch via email as it may be in stock, but under a different name for example.

6. How do I know my online order has been accepted?
Lemaxland will always send you a confirmation email for each stage of the transaction
Order being Processed > Payment received > Order despatched

7. I need my Lemax urgently?
Our standard delivery is by overnight Courier (24hr), 1st and 2nd Class Royal Mail Recorded. All these services deliver 99.9% of time next day (with exception to 2nd class), however, if you need a guaranteed next day or even same day, we can offer Royal Mail Special Delivery by 9am and 1pm as well as same day courier services. Please contact us for a quotation separately.

8. Where do I send my Cheque or Postal Order to?
Once you have placed your order, the confirmation screen will display your order details, along with instructions of where and how to send your payment by post.

9. Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes we do.  However, we need you to go through partial checkout at our store so you items are registered and secured pending our shipping quote.  Simply, place items in your basket and contine through checkout until the screen page displays the 'Place Order Now'.  Click the button and then close.  This will register your potential order with us and we will be in touch accordingly.  If you continue through checkout you may/may not be able to make payment, however, as we have no shipping facility setup for outside the UK, we will contac tyou anyway to provide a shipping quote.

10. Can I use Lemax for my hobby train scenery?
Yes you can! In fact, using Lemax this way makes excellent value for money!   Hornby trains will look too small against Lemax figures, so be careful if scale is of utmost importance!

11. The item I want is 'OUT OF STOCK'?
The nature of Lemax being a seasonal hobby in the UK means, any products 'out of stock' after 31st December, will generally not be available until the following Christmas season. However, before the 31st, we may be able to purchase surplus stock from our suppliers - it's a long shot, but well worth contacting us so we can try for you. Also, 'out of stock' items could simply mean we have pending orders that may or may not be finalised, so get in touch with us and we can let you know the outcome and whether we can obtain that special Lemax piece for you!

12. Why am I diverted to voicemail when I telephone?
Our telephone service is no longer operational, as we want to be purely an online outlet, please email us instead and we will respond within 24hrs (longer timescales during Christmas and New Year.)


14. Do you have a showroom or retail shop I can visit?
We do not have a showroom or retail shop for you to visit, but this is how we keep our costs down in providing the widest range of Lemax products for you in our online store at the lowest prices. We do however, take real life photos of products that may help with your decision making in your village display, so do email us and we will be happy to help you.

15. Where else can I buy Lemax products?
Unfortunately, this can be difficult to know. We are not connected, affiliated with or part of the Lemax Company, so we rely on word of mouth from customers where Lemax is sold which often depends where you are based locally.

16. I cannot login in, help!
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a temporary replacement by clicking the 'forgot your password?' link at the bottom of the Login screen. You will receive a replacement password to the email address you originally registered with.

If you experience problems logging in, remember that your password is case sensitive, so ensure your CAPS lock is set correctly.

If you are using an old email address, please login and change your email settings under your 'personal info'. 

When you receive your new password and copy and paste it to the login screen, please ensure you copy/highlight only the new password and not empty spaces either side of the characters - this is a very common error when customers forget their password, request and new one and copy and paste in this manner.  (Remember, our system will treat the empty spaces as part of your password!)

The MOST common problem for login problems though, is your Internet Browser's cache.  Do the following before you contact us as this may save you time:
If you use Internet Explorer, click > Tools > Delete Browsing History > Cookies and then okay.
If you use Firefox, click > Tools > Clear Private Data > select Cookies and Cache and then okay.
Other Internet Browsers with have similar set ups

17. Do I need to Register with you?
Registration is optional. However, it is very useful for customers. For example, if you visit our store more than once, it will save you time re-entering your details. Secondly, it's helpful to track your parcel or save your order and pay at a later date.  One to four times a year, we will send a newsletter to you (if you opt in).  For the past two years, we have only sent one newsletter per year to advise about our new season's launch - so rest assured, you will never get bombarded with time wasteful emails or spam!  Your privacy is protected at all times and if you prefer us to remove you from our system, please email us via our 'Contact Us' page.

18. How much does it cost to deliver my goods and how quickly?
For mainland UK customers, delivery costs £5.99, but is free if you spend £60 or more with us. For Scottish Highlands etc, delivery costs £12.49 - please visit our Delivery section for detailed information.
We normally despatch within 24hrs and use an overnight 24hr courier service, so generally speaking once you have received the despatch email from us, your order will arrive within 24hrs. Please note, this is not a definitive timeframe and recommend you contact us if you need a guaranteed service.

19. I've seen a product cheaper, do you price match?
We check our prices daily in order to be the cheapest on the net, but a few will always slip through the net. Please rest assured we will ALWAYS price match and offer you 10% of the difference too - see our Price Match section for full details.
